Magical Hagal Farm

I happened across Hagal Farm recently and I hope my few images convey the essence of this most enchanting magical place. Hagal Farm facebook.com/HagalFarm/(opens in a new tab) is near Bantry and Kealkil and does capture part of what is unique about West Cork in my opinion. I know you may say sire anywhere is beautiful when the sun is shining but the West Cork feel and the ethereal presence can be felt and I hope I conveyed this in my pictures. 

I could almost see the fairies in the beautiful gardens as I wandered around, it was a feast for the senses, the smells of summer and the beautiful flowers in full bloom made it easy for me to capture some beautiful images. Im sure you will agree with me that nature and being near water on a summers day raises the vibration and gives a feeling of calm to all of our senses.

For me the best thing about discovering new places with my camera is that I am seeing it with new eyes and the instinct to capture the beauty of this place is so natural to me now that its doesn’t take long to get into the zone where my imagination takes over and I am working from my third eye just enjoying the moment. I hope you get the feeling of stillness and beauty I was trying to portray.
